Program Introduction: Seeds for the Future program. This is a global corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative by Huawei that aims to develop skilled, local ICT talent and bridge communication between countries and cultures. It has been running since 2008 and has covered more than 150 countries and benefited over 2.2 million digital professionals cumulatively. The program consists of two main components: an online course on digital technology and an immersive visit to Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China. The online course covers topics such as 5G, AI, cloud computing, IoT, and cybersecurity, and provides students with access to Huawei’s e-learning platform, Seeds Academy. The immersive visit allows students to experience the ICT sector in China, interact with Huawei experts and executives, and participate in a Tech4Good global competition.
